SHINING DOWN

In summertime San Diego, it's hard sometimes to appreciate the simplest things like the California sun always shining down. The waves, cloud, and sun were just perfect today as it has usually been, so we decided to head down to the cliffs and take some photos. This is one of the most beautiful spots I've ever been to in California, so beautiful that the same day we went to take pictures, a guy proposed to his new fiancee about 10 ft. away from us.
The view of the horizon at the cliffs is just something that I've never really experienced before.

I guess the only one with a better view was the guy in the bi-plane flying around in our general area.

Titanic. Breath-Taking.
I think this was one of my favorite pictures of the day, so simple. Two people just sitting enjoying one of the beautiful occurrences of nature, and it being something so common as the sun setting is just amazing.
Alindsay. Ricardo and I stopped by their new Costa Verde digs before we came to the cliffs, and damn that place was nice, hopefully we will continue to see a lot more of them in the summer and into the year.
New roommates. Three Musketeers? Well Marlyn is the newest addition to the Hanson-Manegold suite, hailing from my hometown, Pasadena. She's a transfer student so we've been showing her the finer sides of San Diego, hope she likes it; You'll probably see much more of these three as the summer passes along.

"Next time you're down, just look up in the sky."

After a while the sun started slowly dropping below the skyline and before you knew it we were running low on sunshine.

Even when you think all is gone, the sun's reflection still peers over the clouds for one last, short-lived encore.
