So yesterday ended withhhh a bang? and this one is going to start with a smoothie. Rico and I decided to wake up at the crack of 11am. My boy ricardinho ran a marathon/campus loop when he woke up and I....took a shower...laziness. (I think he's training for something i'll mention later) Oh well, we hit up some strawberry banana Muscle Milk smoothies for optimal mass gain.
Oh I forgot to mention that i'm starting a long process of: Why Warren Sucks. So here goes my first installation of that. Black Hall in Warren, where our misery is centralized and where we live, has no wireless internet service(even now I had to go to Geisel just to do this, no rip on Geisel but as rico says 'damn that sh!t is far'. Oh yeah we were basically forced by used and for our well beings bought a router which will be up wednesday says our tech support. I think all of Croatia has wireless...but we don't.
The gang decided since we have no internet therefore no lives, we should take advantage of the San Diego sun and hit up downtown and cruise the boulevards being flaneurs. But our journey begins with a journey to emmy. I think chen looks a little like Tom Cruise.
After a mile of walking and a few of driving we get to downtown, sadly facevalue in Little Italy is closed as usuallll...bummer chen. But taking in the sites is pretty nice.
We escaped school and all the stress to come but somehow we managed to go to a bookstore first. Guess it can't hurt to catch up on some reading?
Oh and apparently rico endorses Palin and Sex positions...a deadly combination.
Oh and Jenny apparently hates chen. It's all good to me.
After that amount of fun we decided to get Rico some kicks at the adidas store where the guy behind the counter told me no photos allowed in the store....like i was a spy or something....why would nike copy adidas?
Oh then of course we made our regular stop at Horton Plaza and I just had to do work on any basketball games i saw. Too bad chen didn't have any quarter to do work alongside myself.
Rigoberrrrrrrrrrrrrtos, the 24/7 campus eatery that isn't officially apart of campus, but everrrrrryone whose anyone has eaten and loooves rigobertos, formerly roberto's. So we hit up some Cali burritos and Carne Asada fries...make sure if you try it to bring many friends.
First time in a lloooonnnnggg time i've seen Chen get defeated by any portion of food, i think his jaw was just hurting or something who knows....this is the same man who gave Tim Shiboom baby buya a run for his money at the sushi bar, so that says something about this man's talent.
Circuit was the next stop on the emmy train, well we did hit up the 99 cent store but there was nothing worthy of a picture. They say a picture is worth a thousand words but that whole store doesnt amount to more than..99.99 words. So I hit up some projection madden 09 in the store while rico saw some people he knew as usuuuuallll and chen got a wireless router because warren sucks.
So here is the second installment of why warren sucks...2 in one day...yeah its that bad. Well check out the trek across the canyon we have to make just to get from the nearest parking space to Black's. I feel like i can relate with moses now.
We ended up doing a bunch of stuff just to get batman dark night up on a 1.4 inch lcd flatscreen hdtv which was smaller than the computer that was playing the dvd. This is all while we waited for Jennifer's cookie magic, damn those cookies were pretttyyyy good, shouldnt have ever left the rest to chen's suite.
I ended up walking Jennifer back to her apartment in Warren, Rico had left the Batman party a while ago, and i think he was fighting crime as the dark night but he keeps denying it. Im looking to find solid evidence but hes just tooooo quick. I got him on camera though last night son!!
