For those who are confused about the title, I think that is how you draw '21' in Chinese. Well it was Alexander Victor Chen's 21st birthday celebration, and to show Chen how much we care about him, we decided to do it up big, maybe a little toooo big as you'll find out soon. Either way, it was the most fun I've had in a while, and I'm sure it was even better for Chen. Just before the party Chen dressed up with a few friends to have steak at the Fleming's Steak House, and arrived to the party in full fashion attire. Everyone, anxious to get the party started, was excited to see him and give him their birthday wishes. Immediately as the first few pairs of shoes were being taken off, the beer pong table was set up and the beginning birthday shots were being poured. Lindsay, Tantoy and Ali brought the beer pong table, and a little gift for Chen, which definitely helped the party get started. It was nice seeing everyone get together again and this time was to show their appreciation for Chen. By now you should know that these homies rolled through. Much respect to Sir Sam, Samer and Brian. You'll see much more of them as the post goes on, and on and on. Also if I begin to stop commenting on all of my photos, it's because I took way too many to count. I do have a special treat at the end of this post though, so keep reading! Lindsay with the mad dog. Aww, excuse me for the poor lighting, but I enjoy it that way personally. Thanks go out to Jasmin for organizing most of this party, and Chen for being born. So with the party in full effect and everyone getting along, I got plenty of chances to grab some nice shots (pun intended). What's a party without Ricardo Tamayo Gonzalez III? Especially since Chen and Rico are the new Batman and Robin. Having all the people that we appreciate most there was one of the greatest feelings in the party because there was never a moment of silence. There were definitely more How are you doing? 's than Nice to meet you 's. Lindsay and Tantoy being the beasts of beer pong that they were, were defeated early on. Maybe next time. No doubt it's a fun party if Ari is there. Chen's social network reaches far, even into my social network. This is Grace, my high school friend, who has come to know Chen fairly well over the past year or two. She came down from San Marcos just to wish Chen happy birthday and have some fun. Yet again it's nice to see everyone here. Judy BVK. I realized that when I think of Samer, I see that hat as well, no matter where. Signature style. Aw. Glad to see Chen's having some fun. Midnight Marauders. If Chen put up as many shots in an intramural game as he did tonight, he would be Kobe, or Ray Allen at least. BFF. BVK. Guests, guests, and more guests. This is the look of defeat, 2-1. Impressive for the other side. Team Bananas, IM bowling team! We were supposed to look like pins, Rico is doing a pretty good job. Alindsay and Tantoy had to leave a little early, so we got in one last picture with Chen. Rebbecca Schneider even made it all the way from UT in Texas just for this party. Not really, but she was in attendance, and it was very nice to see a friend that I haven't seen in so long. Thug Life. I thought they were gone, but I guess one last shot? LA, LA, AL? Core-E-Ahns. Good people. Samer? BVK and Thanson. So after a night of being loud and disruptive, the neighbors decided to break us up. We truly were sorry we couldn't quiet everyone down and that such a great night had to end this way, but what can you do? I'm glad Grace and Jasmin got along, I guess it was game of pong that brought them together. Goodnight, you don't have to go home, but you have to get out of here. Sam, Rico, and Grace regulated. Sorry Chen, but it was fun while it lasted. Happy Birthday, and here's to more of the same to come. Check out the video below!! Hope everyone had a good time, because I sure did. !
